Redirecting your customers to a specific Shopify page— you might be wondering, how will this be useful for me?
Imagine a customer clicking on a link or entering a URL for a product that's recently been hidden. They're expecting to find what they were looking for, but instead, they find an error page or a message indicating the product is no longer available, causing the customer to face a potential dead-end due to the hidden status of the product.
To redirect your customers to a specific Shopify page when the product is hidden, follow the detailed instructions provided here.
Step 1: Go to advanced settings
Upon finishing the actions and setting the update frequency, you're all set to move on to the advanced settings.
Once you've completed step 3 (Type and options), please proceed to the next step by clicking on the "advanced settings" option, where you can configure how to redirect your customers to the specific Shopify page if a product is hidden.
Step 2: Configuring your advanced settings (where to redirect)
Here, you can access the advanced settings for our “hide product”' action.
Here you will be able to choose various “redirect options” to avoid the error message when a product is hidden due to being out of stock. Please click on the roll down menu and select the option you wish for in this case the redirect your customers to the specific Shopify page if a product is hidden.
Step 3: Making sure you set up the Shopify page you want to redirect to
In this step, after selecting the redirect option, choose the specific Shopify page to which you want to redirect your customers when they click on a hidden product.

To ensure that the action will take place, please make sure to click the "Create Action" button in the top right corner after finishing setting your specifics, and you're all set to GO!
